Dear … (Letters to Our Favourite Authors)

Skating SensationDear Rachel Renée Russell,

I really enjoyed your book Skating Sensation. I found it really funny especially when her little sister was on the phone to Brandon but Nikki just thought it was fake so she told her little sister all this nasty stuff to say and it was a real phone call so Nikki ran out of the shower and went to get the phone off her little sister. When she finally got it she was so excited that Brandon asked her to meet him and it probably relates to me a lot as I have done this before.

Yours sincerely,

death noteDear Tsugumi Ohba,

Thank you for writing Death Note. The book kept me entertained for hours. It’s probably one of the only manga books I have gotten alongside Fullmetal Alchemist. I am going to start the next book soon.

If you are going to write a new book, I think you should write it from the Death Gods’ perspective – just an idea.

Anyway, thanks again for writing the book.

Yours sincerely,

Batman Hush

Dear DC Comics,

I loved your Batman:Hush Part 1. It was awesome.

I liked the bit when Catwoman and Batman kiss. The part when Poison Ivy took over Superman and Superman and Batman had a fight was ok but I liked the bit when Superman said he was hurt because Superman is supposed to be invincible but I guess not.

Yours sincerely,

Rodrick rulesDear Jeff Kinney,

I am writing to tell you that I really enjoy reading your books.

I really enjoyed Rodrick Rules because I think it is funny. I like how their parents went away for a few days and Greg and Rodrick were alone in the house by themselves. Once his parents walk out the door, Rodrick texts everyone on his friends list and Rodrick has a party without his parents’ permission.

Yours sincerely,

FantasticDear Roald Dahl,

I like your book Fantastic Mr Fox. It’s quite interesting even if it is a bit too easy for me.

I like how the foxes are so determined at the start to run away from the big diggers but I also like the fact that the three farmers, Boggis, Bunce and Bean, really want to catch them.

One of my favourite parts in the book is when they sneak into the food store and steal loads of food.

Overall it was good and I would recommend it.

Yours sincerely,

a home for teaselDear Margi McAllister,

I loved your book A Home for Teasel because it shows that dreams find their own way.

When Gwen wanted a horse her mum and dad wouldn’t buy her one. Then she helped an old lady and she had a horse for Gwen to look after. When she helped the old lady with looking after the horse she wouldn’t take any money.

Yours sincerely,
