The Indigo Spell is the third book in Richelle Mead’s Bloodlines series.
Sydney Sage is beginning to question her Alchemist training especially after tracking down former Alchemist, Marcus Finch, but can she really turn her back on the only life she has ever known?
She is also forced to face her feelings for Moroi, Adrian, who refuses to give up on her and their chance at a relationship. It is to Adrian that she turns when her history teacher, Ms Terwilliger, enlists her help to track down a witch who is stealing the life essence from young girls who, like Sydney, have magic but are reluctant to use it.
Sydney is in danger from all sides yet it remains her duty to protect Jill, the Moroi queen’s sister, and keep Angeline from getting kicked out of school.
I still prefer the Vampire Academy series but I do want to see what happens to the characters in the next book.
