Sequels you shouldn’t miss

In Beautiful Dead: Book 2 – Arizona, the story of Darina’s quest to find out the truth behind the violent deaths of four High School students continues. If you enjoyed Holes by Louis Sachar check out Small Steps which tells the story of what happened to Armpit and X-ray after their release from Camp Green Lake.

Best of the sequels though is The Hunger Games: Catching Fire. Months have passed since Katniss Everdeen and Peeta Mellark defied the Capitol and both survived the Hunger Games. In a terrible twist they find themselves once again fighting for their lives. Despite being the middle book of a trilogy, this is as exciting as the first book and leaves you desperate to know how the story will end.

Other books to check out:

Evermore by Alyson Noel will appeal to those of you who love the Twilight series and The Bad Tuesdays: Twisted Symmetry by Benjamin J. Myers is the first book in a six-part series that will interest Science-Fiction fans.

I guessed the twist in Wonderland by Joanna Nadin before the end but it is well worth a look for older readers.

I’ve almost finished Terry Pratchett’s latest Discworld novel Unseen Academicals which is about football and pies and fashion and so much more.
