Just finished reading Beautiful Dead by Eden Macquire. According to one reviewer, it is set to do for zombies what Twilight did for vampires. There are similarities in that this is essentially a teenage love story and we, apparently, have a lot to learn about ‘real’ zombies. I preferred Generation Dead by Daniel Waters though (see the review in Fantasy/Horror). If you enjoy it (and I am sure you will), you will want to read the sequel, Kiss of Life. A word of warning – as this is obviously the second book in a trilogy it does not have the same impact as the first book but is setting things up for the next one.
